DYLAN TUCKER
HEAD COACH | FOUNDER
Fifth Quarter Standard
In sixteen years as a player, I’ve seen this game from every angle. I’ve started, and I’ve been benched. I’ve been on teams that didn’t win a game and teams that won championships. I’ve changed positions, worked through injuries, and dealt with decisions that were out of my control. I’ve competed at a high level, including earning an opportunity at the CFL Combine.
Now, five years into my professional coaching career, I’ve worked with over 500 athletes. Football doesn’t just test your ability—it exposes your habits, your mindset, and how you respond when things don’t go your way. Through it, I built relationships that will last a lifetime and learned from some of Canada’s best coaches. More importantly, it forced me to grow. Work ethic, communication, resilience, and accountability weren’t things I talked about—they were things I had to live. That’s what shapes how I see the game today.
I live this game every day to be the best teacher of it I can be. That’s what Fifth Quarter was built on.
The game is played in four quarters. The fifth quarter is everything outside of it—the work, the preparation, and the standard you hold when no one’s watching. That’s where players separate. We leave no stone unturned.
Most athletes don’t fall short because they don’t care—they’re never shown how to develop properly. We don’t leave that up to chance. Every athlete here is developed to meet the demands of their position within a clear structure. Athletes are coached, corrected, and expected to take ownership. You’re not here to go through the motions—you’re here to learn, to understand what you’re doing, why it matters, and how it applies when the game speeds up.
Mentorship matters. Athletes need direction, honesty, and someone who understands what they’re going through—someone who’s been there and knows what it takes to move forward. That’s the standard here.
We’re invested in developing complete players—not just in performance, but in how they approach the game, respond to challenges, and carry themselves over time. Our environment isn’t for everyone. It’s for athletes and families who are serious about development—who value being coached, being held accountable, and committing to a process.
This work extends beyond one coach. Our staff is made up of former university and professional players who share the same commitment to teaching, mentorship, and intentional development. Together, we bring experience and care into an environment where athletes are supported as both players and individuals.
WHAT'S DONE IN THE DARK WILL COME TO LIGHT.
